I have tried both DTDC and Canada post registered . Both reached at same time. with 30$ fees DTDC delivers in 4-5 days ( non metro ) and same by Registerd canada post in 17$ ( depend on the size and weight)

Thanks all who suggested DTDC. It was sent on Nov 11 from Canada and got it today morning. Bulky package, still $25, Fedex wanted $150.

I used DTDC for both services, i .e. to send documents from Canada to India and to bring documents from India to Canada.

I would say to send documents from Canada to India DTDC service is excellent and Cheap.

Whereas to get documents from India to Canada DTDC service is Ok and cheap compare to if you choose to send documents from India to Canada.

They use TNT to bring documents from India to Canada. Somebody wil pick up the documents or package from designated address in India and then TNT will deliver it your place in Canada.

I would say if you want to use DTDC for bringing some documents from India to Canada, be prepare to follwo up couple of times and takes usually bit longer than sending documents to India.

Thanks a lot for the information .

I inquired at both DTDC & First Flight here . FF quoted $35/lb and DTDC quoted $25/lb ...

In India they are costing around INR 1250 ... both ...

The DTDC here advised me that it would take 1-2 extra days from here as they would need to initiate import procedure as opposed to sending the documents through DTDC India , which appears to be correct ....

I haven't used either DTDC or FF .. Since they are both costing the same from India , was wondering which is better service ..... Have tried Speed Post once and the docs reached in almost a month ..... Hence the choice b/w the two .
