Hi
Need the following info please:

- How long does it take to write the test? Mine starts @ 1:00 PM, can I expect to finish and walk out of the building by 2:00 PM?

-If an interview with a judge is required, is it on the same day, or is it scheduled at a later time/date?

-Can someone pls forward the links for the mock citizenship test?

Thanks

Depends entirely on your test center.
In less busy test centers, it's quite likely you'll be done in 1 hr. or less.
In very busy centers, like the one in Mississauga (ON), it is extremely unlikely you'll be done in 1 hr.
Just because the letter says 1:00 doesn't mean your test will begin at 1:00 - it may not begin until 1:30 or even 2:00, depending on the center.
Find out how busy the center is, and then organize yourself accordingly.

Later date, again depending on how busy your center is.
In places like Mississsauga, it could take almost 6 months to get a date with the judge, if needed.

Mine is in Mississauga, the problem is that I have a flight to catch at 5:30PM from Pearson, so just wondering...............
Do I call the CIC to find out how busy it will be during the weekdays?

Domestic or international?
From what I recall, you should plan on about 2 hrs. end-to-end.
So say 3:00 by the time you get out.
If you can go directly to the airport without stopping at home/office, you'll probably be ok for a 5:30 flight.

No point calling - it's one of the busiest centers in the country, quite possibly THE busiest.
And tests/hearings are only on weekdays so all days are equal.

You can go early and request them to get you in early as you have to catch a flight .....

They may accomodate you .....

Good luck

Not the one in Mississauga at least.
There is only one slot for citizenship exam every day so all applicants for that day have to appear during that single slot (apparently 1:00 pm).
Similarly, there is one single slot for the oath ceremony and all applicants selected for that day have to appear during that one slot.
The test won't take that long - the main delay is the document verification, seating arrangements for everyone, distribution of tests, etc.
5:30 domestic flight should be easily doable.
International should be ok as well if going directly.
