I applied for citizenship for myself and my family members, about a year and a half back. I have not received any written communication from CIC. When enquired over phone I was told that our case has been posted for a hearing with citizenship judge. Under what circumstances is a case referred to citzenship judge. I fulfil all the requirements for citizenship and have lived here for past six years, except for brief spells on vacation.
there can be several reasons for this. The usual one is when your residency seems uncertain, i.e. you have left the country too many times.
