I would like people will share their success/failure to obtain "Parent Super Visa".

I hope that will help and motivate lost of the reader from CD.

I also requested ADMIN to make this thread or create a thread of similar kind with sticky so pleople can go through it and share it.

My father arraived to Toronto at Port Of Entry they asked him how much he want to stay and he said 6-8 months, however the officer is good enogh to awawrd him with 2 year visa and ask him to update his insurance after 1 year of stay.

12 April 2012 - Received Passport for Medical
16 April 201 - Medical Finished
17 April 2012 - Passport resend for Final Decision
07 May 2012 - SUPER VISA Granted till 2017 -father passport expire in 2017.


My father has been denied Visitor Visa twice in 2009 for reason weak family tie in india.
In 2006 Family calss rejected because of my mother health.

Please update this post if anyone parent in this forum receive the VISA.

thanks for sharing the above info. particularly clarifying that rejection of earlier visas got no impact on subsequent ones. its abt sending correct docs to VfS.

Most of the SV info seekers are interested in knowing about the canadian company insurance package before applying for the super visa for parents.
Pls inform this forum , which insurance did you buy for your parents, what rates, what age group and with what coverage ?


Also when your parents arrive here pls inform the duration of visa stamped at port of entry , thats for me is most interesting part. !
