The response means they are fine with one way ticket. Make sure your father have printout of the above email letter. Just in case you never know.

Hi Sanjayjava

I have the same problem. Please can you advise what did you do in your case.
Travel agents in India tell that we need a return ticket for visitors visa. I have a super visa for parents.

Please help.

Travel Agents in India are in learning phase about super visa, they are playing safe without applying sense. Ask them to get you 2 years return ticket, when they advice you return ticket and increase cost for you.

There is no return ticket regulation, specially AFTER THE VISA IS STAMPED. The return ticket is bought only before visa and sent along the application to show the intention of returning. It is bought in case of business trips/ short term visitor visas. It can also be asked(by airlines while boarding) if your passport or other entry/return doc is expiring soon.

The return ticket is not required for super visa . My father landed without the return ticket and there was no problem .
