Parents’ sponsorship: 90 days deadline

Any e-CAS updates to your case statuses after you sent the forms and documents to CPC-M? I sent my parents' forms on December 28 and the e-CAS does not show any change at all.

It is a bit unnerving especially because CIC's letter mentioned that if they do not receive any documents within 90 days, they will consider the application "abandoned".

What if CIC gets back to us in summer saying that they never heard back from us? The least they can do is to update the e-CAS status to reflect the receipt of the new forms.

Did any of the members receive any update??

Yes, in my case now website status changed and it says Decision made on application + i recieved letter from CIC indicated that file has been transter to your local country.

Early on December 2011. You will get answer from CIC very soon.

i also got a letter from CIC that i'm approved as a sponsor and my case was forwarded to Ottawa. I sent additional documents in the beginning of December.

Hi Shuga,

little surprise, Why your file has been transfered to Ottawa instead of India?

In my case, letter stated that file has transfer to your native country (i.e. India) for further process..

if possible please update with information..
