i don't know why my case was forwarded to Ottawa instead of the local office... i applied for sponsorship in 2008, got request for additional documents at the end of November 2011, sent the requested documents on December 8, 2011... last week i received a letter from CPC-M that I met sponsor requirements and my case was transferred to Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa... there are no dependents in my case - only 2 parents...

Thanks for update, that's strange, my case is same like yours....no dependents only parents.

my letter says I met sponsor requirements and my case was transferred to India.

I guess depends on location or may different requirements could be the cause sending files at different places...

As per CIC website, this is now a pilot project and most files will be processed from Ottawa office and in some perticular cases, the file may be transferred to the native country if required.
RBO, you should be fine. Its a usual practice.

1) Do I need to send 2 envelopes (of size 9inch by 12inch) or two mailing labels?

OR

do I need one (1) envelopes (of size 9inch by 12inch) AND two mailing labels?

2) And since I am filling 'Use of Representative' - IMM 5476

whose address should I put ??

Thx for update, did your file gone through or not?

Suggestion : we all are in same boat, so request to forum members, whenever get a chance please update the status of your file here so atleast another members will be aware that what's going on with sponsership files...
