There is an item in the article 'Always send an e-mail to thank an interviewer'. I dont know if that applies to India. I lost out due to this. Overall good article that points out to the soft skills of Indians.
I can support the above.
Much of the Indian's suffer from terrible inferiority complex and feel that if they pause to hear the person at the other end, that they might be convinced to do something that is against their goal.
For example, I was a client and I hired an office to do a particular work. We had some difference in the payment terms and I ended up paying in a slightly different way. The accounts dept. clerk called me and started firing me. I reminded him that I was their employer but I really could not get the point across. He refused to listen to me and started blabbering non stop.I had to cut the phone.
The Irony is that we will end up giving the next project to him alone as a known devil is better than an unknown angel.
That is the situation here. better the Canadian desi's donot come to India to settle here. despite all your sufferings / joy, just stay in Canada.
peace
