I travelled by lufthansa. When i came at Toronto airport they told me flight is full. They overbook so if you come late you lose your seat even when you have a confirmed ticket. At Frankfurt they will lock you up in a small cage like enclosure because they are afraid you might escape into germany. I had a difficult time waiting in the enclosure 7 hrs no food no drink .I will never travel by lufthansa ever again. Then I was asked to rebook my ticket at Toronto. All flights were booked for a month so instead of Delhi I had to go to Bombay. The indian guy at the desk said sir atleast you will be in India for diwali ??
Lufthansa flights are a little cheaper. After this experience I swore never to travel by Lufthansa. They treat us like cattle and refugees.

Lufthansa's seating arrangement is so tightly packed with no leg room, seats do not have proper cushion for your bum that after a couple of hours of your 6+ hours flight you would start to feel your behind is on fire, their food sucks and their entertainment sucks too. The Frankfurt airport is kind of cool though.

Never traveled in Fin air.

On the contrary, if I may suggest, British airways has excellent seating arrangement. Economy itself looks first class. wide seats, lots of leg room, cushy-cushy seats, food's great and entertainment's also great. But the heathrow airport sucks big time. No planning whatsoever. I had to walk about a mile to come the main terminal from T5 as there are no proper transit between these two. Also they misplaced my baggage.
