Friends, I have got 4 yrs of experience in Software testing, I have got 2 yrs Canadian experience as well. Recently moved from US, will appreciate any reference that could assist me in job search, I have worked on Manual testing, SQL and unix, also have QTP cert, however no hands on yet. I have excellent communication skills and great interpersonal skills. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Friends, so many views and no reply. I am sure some of you are employed in IT jobs or currently have openings in your depts, some of you may know Managers or hiring authorities.

Please don't beg for jobs, this will get you no where. Unless you follow systematic approach to job search which has been discussed number of times in this thread as well, it will be hard to get job.

- Is your resume updated?
- Are you applyting through workopolis/monster?
- Are you contacting the recruitment agencies (TekSystems/Randstad etc)?
- Is your linkedin profile updated?

Since you have already worked in Canada for past 2 years getting a job should not be that difficult.

Typical attitude of Desi's. Though many may be in a position to help you, no one will offer. If you not in IT, then they will redicule you.
In Canada, Spaceman's idea will be the best to stand on your own legs.

Spaceman - Before, anything how did you made any opinion I am begging ?? If you think you lived in Canada for so long there is a thing called "Networking" and "Making connections" that exactly what I am doing . But self-absorbed and prejudice people like you limit others chances and possibilities, What made you think I am not already doing that and just posting on the boards ?? Yes, I did work in Canada before; I am using every effort to make ways.
Please don't ridicule yourself with the nonsense advice. No one wants to hear it !
