You end up paying high premium for these cars, dont believe you will save much in gas over the next 7 to 10 years unless gas prices really shoot up crazy. You are basically paying for savings of gas down the road upfront in capital premium prices.

If you do a lot of city driving and lots of Kim's like more than 35k a year get a hybrid else get a convential fuel efficient car

Thanks for your input however I am planning to go for a Used certified hybrid Camry.
My driving is predominantly, city driving, and within the 25 K Km per year for

Used camry Gas one and Hybrid are selling nearly same.

the new 2012 camry hybrid is supposed to give very high city mileage ( low gas consumption)

if you want to avoid the hybrid premium, you can stick with Civic / corolla
