Thank you Sir !
I am not an immigration expert or lawyer.....
What I understand is this....
1. You have not yet submitted your BC. There are many people who do not have their BC's in India.
2. Find out if you can submit an alternate document in lieu of the BC for proof of DOB... Such as SLC or CLC.....
3. What if you lose your BC.... Then is there a possibility of obtaining a duplicate.... Can you submit an affidavit/motivation to the clerk and have it made out to the correct spelling?
4. An Indian can make out that an 'i' and two 'ee's' are the same.... But for them it is maybe like Robert and Roberto.... Two entirely different names....
From my personal experience.... Immigration authorities are particular about names and spellings....I shall discuss this with a lawyer friend of mine and update you in this thread...
Yes mam Kindly do that for me. I would wait for your reply.
I submitted a plea to the Birth & Death office but they refused to make any changes.
As 2 senior desis said make an affidavit, I would make that , however, I want to be 101% sure that the Canadian govt would accept that affidavit. Because if they raise an objection, our SINP file would get badly delayed.
Also, should I ask my Father to take out a declaration in the national newspaper here and then attach that in the SINP file ?
Thanks in advance !
Now this is my understanding.... But I am not the expert.....
I have my doubts whether a declaration as such will be of any help...
My lawyer friend has suggested - Can you have the birth certificate issued in your local language? If so..... Then you can have this document translated into English (with correct spelt name).... Plus you will have to submit an affidavit for the translator's ability/capacity to do so.....No need to submit the original English BC....
Hope this helps.... Keep this post updated.... All the best...
No mam, issuing it in Hindi is not possible as per the law.
Many guys in Saskatoon , who don't have a BC or have an incorrect one, have deposited their X mark sheet as a substitute. I don't know whether that would be accepted, and only time would tell that. I have many friends here in India who have wrong names on their BC and that does not mean that they cant apply for Canadian PR, so there has to be a solution to this problem.
Thank you for your time and efforts Mam, I would keep you posted.
And
I am finding it very difficult to remb the joining and resig dates of several companies I worked for. In that 10 years question that I need 2 fill, what happens if I make some human errors ? 10 yrs is a long time & I dont have all the docs in place, sp for d smaller companies that I worked for ..
This can't be called a human error.....it could be classified as misinformation...its an excuse since these are verifiable facts..... It can be argued that you must go to/call the employers and verify the dates/duration worked by you..... Please try and find all resumes you may have created in the past 10 yrs..... You should be able to accurately piece it together..... Everyone creates a new cv atleast once in 2-3yrs...... Whether they change their jobs or not......
Going forward, please retain a photocopy of all forms filled/submitted by you..... Please write dates/details on the photocopy of cv submitted by you..... There should never be any discrepancy in any documents officially submitted for immigration.....
This is a system we have personally followed in our life..... We have moved countries and taken multiple PR's.... It has helped us be accurate and at ease at all times.....The only thing is that your document file is a bit bulky...... But that's a small price to pay...
