Hi ,

Age has started showing up gray hair on head and I was wondering which one o use - henna or hair dye - per convenience and low side effects .

Also are these supposed to be by hair type ? Can some one recommend some popular brands and their availability ...

Thx ...

I use Just for Men - "Real Black". I haven't had any known side effects other than the addiction to CD. Available online and at stores.

Get the one that has comb attached with tube.... My husband uses it.... Application is easy.... No mess or drips.... Also convenient for sidelocks and mustache.... Hope that helps...

The latest Just for Men comes with the comb / brush. The previous version is being phased out.

Hi - firstly thanks to all for responses ..Seems Just for Men is a popular hair color ...

My feel is that if you discontinue use of hair color / henna , it will take a while to get back to your natural color ... maybe 12-15 weeks .... Before this period your hair would show discoloration because of fading effects of the color ...

I am using Henna since last few years and no problem , this holiday started looking for dye and almost decided for dye and then my wife had discussions with her beautician on this same topic . on which she advised continuation of henna , as the Dye keeps increasing the greying your hair ... beautician gave her husband's example ...he had all hair grey now in one year ,since he started using.I know Henna if used properly keeps your hair healthy and the orange colour you notice on first application merges/blends with rest of hair after regular use .so far now using Henna as new year's resolution, anyway I know after some years will totally stop using anything as Grey also is well accepted in Canada ... other than among us
