Henna is NOT black. If someone offers you something called "Black Henna", it is NOT henna.

One of my aunt was saying she mixes hair dye in henna...so that way you get the color and as well the goodness of henna(some yoghurt,egg white plus henna)try this!

Thanks Ani. That link has a specific type of black henna. I know several women who use Black Heena for their hair. IT's also commonly used in Sudan as well as Ethiopia.

I'll get the names of the black henna safe for use on hair and send it along.

There is a dye .. its heena based herbal dye .. better than those chemical ones ... its called 'Colour Mate' , its available easily in india ... in canada dont know ....try it ... its good.
