Conflicting Info about landing. Seeking expert opinion

Dear Experts at CD:
The reason I am posting this question is that I am getting a very diplomatic and safe answer from my Immig. Consultants. Which is not too bad, but I need a more practical and friendly advice, which I am sure is not available anywhere else but here on CanadianDesi.com

Q. I need to send my passport to another agency here in USA, so I need to plan my moves accordingly. I want to make sure that my passport is available with me when I get a request from the CHC. Can you give me a rough estimate of the time from now when I should expect the CHC to request my passport? My preceding timeline has been as follows:
Applied to CHC: Dec 2002
Application started by CHC: Feb 25, 2003
Interview Waiver received.
Medicals: Feb 20th, 2004
Paid RPR Fees: June 8th, 2004

Again, my question: is what is the approximate future timeline for my case?

You didn't say what embassy is processing your application. Timeline depends very much on that.

Excuse my ignorance, but do you mean it will be about 3 months till the time I get my request for Passports?

Sorry. 3 months for visa. Passport request may come in about 6 weeks.
