Hello CD memebers..
We have recently completed our medicals..
I have question regarding my passport.
My toddler son somehow got hold of my passport and has drawn lines with ballpen
in two of the blank pages.
I know you will think of me as irresponsible to keep passport accesible to him..
I did keep it in safe place according to me..but now it seems everything is accessible to him.
Will it affect when I send my passport for visa stamping.
To whom should I inform?

Dear Parag,
No matter in what mess you are, there is allways a way if you look for one. If you think that the black lines drawn by your baby may cause any problem, You can approach your neares passport office, meet the passport officer and get a duplicate passport issued. The intimation about duplicate passport can be send to CIC. There won`t be any problem from them.
Or else just go ahead with your current passport and if they raise any problem you can tell them the actual reason and if they so desire you can get them a new passport then.
Don`t ask them or intimate them this as you would be highlighting a problem which may not be a problem at all.

I hope it won't create a problem. Today I contacted my consultant and they confirmed that as far as there are blank pages available for visa stamping there is no problem.
As far as my timeline it's like as follows..
I am from UAE and filed at CIC London..
AOR : May-04
Waiver : Dec - 05
Medicals : Jan - 06
Hoping to get visa till May-06

I think that everyone moving to Canada knows that at anytime for the slightest possible thing CHC can delay your application, that is probably why we are all worried about little details like........

Nice to know that the consulate confirmed that there will be no problem in stamping your VISA.
