Hi,
I am currently living in Toronto on work permit (valid for another 2 years). I applied for a PR but waiting for a decision. I am in urgent need of money so is there any financial institution which can provide a personal loan for temporary residents in Canada?
Thanks,
Dude,
unless you mortgage Gold, no one will ever give you a loan as you are of WP.
Please try to get money from India (Parents, selling house etc..)

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
At one time in the past, they did offer credit cards to temporary workers, international students etc... but the banks learnt a lesson or two when many just piled debt toward the end of their stay and ran offfffffffffffffff. As a result, now-a-days, banks typically reject credit card requests by transients unless they leave in bank deposit more cash than their credit card limit! When I moved to Canada, I was soundly rejected by all major banks for credit cards. Eventually, I got one from BMO after buying a huge GIC for 5 years. I still have it (they aren't very happy right now since the rate is so low at this time!). These days, I keep getting offers from every crook in the country wishing to load me up with debt and hoping I won't pay off fast enough so they could levy high rates om monthly payments. Anyways.... Banks do have tons of money, if only you know how to take it! :P

I second what FH says.
Even if you are successful in obtaining a loan, the risk associated from the lender's perspective is high, and they will want to be compensated for taking such a high risk by charging an astronomically high interest rate.

It really is teeming with scams on the internet, really not normal. In one week I lost 500usd for payments. I had inquiries made xxxxxxcame just disappointed. I would recommend anyone to advertise on the site.I've only tried it a different website, and when I had finally found someone who was still honest (xxxxxxxx) Because he asked me in advance, but doubted he could give evidence and so I took the risk anyway and I was able to borrow from him. 30000usd,please don't email anybody said to be a loan lender in this website because they are all scams, they disappoint me and run away with my 500usd xxxxxxx is the only one i trust because he gave me the loan i needed,,please do not email anyone in this website because they are scams they pretend to be loan lenders they rip people of their hard earned money the USA Attorney General Of Police are searching for this guys in the internet right now so don't email this guys please they will rip you off like they did to
