Can I carry Alcohol in Domestic flights India

Hi
my flight is toronto to india (mumbai) but i am going to gujarat by domestic flight. i.e mumbai to ahemadabad.
Can i carry alcohol in this domestic flight? I am planning to buy alcohol from duty free shop at toronto airport.

They restrict carrying of Alcoholic Beverages into Gujarat. But for NRI's it is slightly lenient. In Domestic flights they prohibit. In international flights arriving directly into Amdavad, it is O.k.

Why do you plan to buy alcohol from Toronto airport? You will get it cheaper at Delhi airport duty free shop. Last year, a bottle was of 40 bucks at Pearson Airport. The same bottle was of 38 bucks at in-flight shopping and 35 bucks at Delhi Airport.

Moreover If you have a stopover in Europe then they will confiscate any liquid more than 100 ml. So either buy it in flight during the next lap to Mumbai or at the Mumbao airport.
