Yesterday there were many heated arguments on News channels over Salman Kurshid calling Modi "impotent" with respect to his inability to control 2002 riots.
Now that 2002 riots controversy has become stale and people not any more believing the Congress, they are trying to instill fresh life through other means.
But the worse part is when ND TV's Burqa Dutt conducted her "panchayat" on Salman Kurshid's tirade. BJP instead of sending real heavy weights like Debang Nanavati or many equally good spokespersons, sent Prakash Javedkar to debate against Oxford alumini lawyer Salman. Salman kept on defending himself, and after a few rounds, it was Prakash Javedkar who looked aweful and crestfallen, than the wrong doer Kurshid.
Apart from a glaxo baby voice, Prakash English also is not up to the mark. In one debate some months ago he kept on saying "incidences" instead of "instances" or "incidents".
Another person who makes us feel, is there not a better BJP speaker is Chandan Mitra. Most of the words he is uttering is chewed by his teeth themselves, and the viewers hardly get to hear anything clearly.
BJP do have very good spokespersons. Apart from Bebang Nanavati who is the best they have Smriti Irani, Nirmala Seetharaman, Meenakshi Lekhi who are equally good.
But unfortunately it is people like Javedkar and Mitra who are frequently seen.
Hope it doesn't cost them the votes.

Nirmala Seetharaman was good. She knew (most of the time) what she was talking. Javdekar may be good in Hindi. BJP is dominated by North Indians who can speak good Hindi. When it comes to English, they need support.
Looks like Modi is on the campaign trail alone. What abt Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Gadkari, etc? Modi is crisscrossing the country whereas others sit in Delhi. May be no one wants to hear them.
