Religious creeps are everywhere in this world, eeeeks! and their children are doomed to stay confused for ever. One of them will come and behead you. Good future ahead !. Your God gave you this life, he planned it all..bad , suck it up.

No doubt about it. One, confused Desi and on top of it - confused Religious. Double whammy, oh boy! Had God ever envisaged it in his/her name? Even Almighty must be confused with all such prevalence.

I make best of both world. I teach them best frm both the culture. I just brainwash them that hardwork and success goes hand in hand and keep away frm bad crowd. I volunteer in school and whenever I see something wrong in school, I inform the right authorities immdly.
I dont tke them to temple etc...but I tell them to pray at home and tell them God is everybody's soul. I have been to few temples here but I never found closeness to God or peace in temple which I found in India.
In our country, we have enough issues like drugs, voilence, gay, lesbian, child abuse etc etc, so dont burden ur children with world issues.
Your approach is good. I liked it.
I didn't even find peace in couple Indian temples I visited recently ... kids accompanied us ( with lot of reluctance ) as they didn't had much choice. ( Of course they were lured with some benefits if they come with us). I found only dirt, totally unhygienic conditions , bed bugs, lack of minimum facilities and unfair business in the name of god ..... nothing else. We will be much better off if we meditate at home for peace of mind and help others ( in whatever way we can) who are in real need.

Exactly ! , you got it ! perhaps you were looking around through your logical mindset, which crores do not do. Though you should'nt apply your mind anywhere around a temple or mosque. They preach it that way, also please keep your eyes closed and hands folded when you walk. Must be written in the Books.
Every religion including Islam teaches you the importance of the human values. But the problem is the interpretation and it is purely depends on the knowledge of the person. Instead of teaching human values of their religion, these so called religious schools brain wash the young kids and in the process those kids are coming out as radicals.

Sure....Islam teaches the "importance of human values"...One head at a time. :-)
Try this little test. Close your eyes, imagine you are standing in front of a ISIS mob and repeat the above paragraph about "bad followers who have misinterpreted Islam". what do you think would happen to you? :-)
I am very sad to see these kind of views being aired on this site. I have great respect for Canadiandesi. I remember how years ago this was my only resource when I was in the initial stages of the immigration process, and what a valuable source of information this was for me and my family. I am sure other potential immigrants will find it useful to consult.
I am happy to say that I am now a proud and happy Canadian citizen. I subscribe to Canadian values, and when I think back over it, I realize that my values were always Canadian values, and that is the reason why I was always attracted to Canada.
I have great faith in the Canadian system, and Canadian laws. I should like to see Canada prosper and become a country that others should look up to for enlightenment. As such, I would not like to see racism and bigotry raising its ugly head here. I think there are Canadian laws for dealing with criminal activities, whether committed by Muslims or any others and I am quite happy to leave it to the concerned people to deal with these. It is certainly not for me to pass judgement on who needs to be castigated and incarcerated. The OP appears to suggest Muslims of a particular region should be sought and punished because they belong to that particular region, cast, or religion. If that were to become the norm here, just imagine where it would lead to: Back to square one, where for a long time Canada followed the policy of Canada for the Whites only, and Canadians are now apologizing and asking forgiveness for that kind of behavior because they have realized that was WRONG!!
So, let us all consider ourselves as Canadians first, and respect each other; we are here because hopefully we all subscribe to certain values: justice, rule of law, fairplay, and NO RACISM!
Let us not bring primitive, divisive, and poisonous politics to this lovely land. I am sure there are other "hate" sites on the internet that one could go to to vent one's bile....
