Australia beat England and NZ beat Sri Lanka in the first matches on held on Saturday,
Looking forward to the big match of India-Pak tomorrow.
CNN IBN (an affiliate news channel of CNN in India) has roped in Ricky Ponting , K. Srikanth to give commentry at all times. K Srikanth is a joker. He has to grow up. Still he is speaking like a child (IMHO).

Same here. For me, it is rather looking like a regular NHL Calgary Flames vs. Leafs - no interest at all. It's Indo-Pak - the rivalry will still be there, even though not the good teams.
But, it's World cup and Cricket, so gather up friends, cans of beer and a huge subway sandwiches or pizza. You can't beat the latter.
One good thing - Pepsi is advertising their ICC Cricket World cup contest on the bus shelters. Good to see something other than Hockey
My gut/mind says, India will win. I have analyzed the team composition for both, and India is still 'andhon mein kaana raja' among the two.
Good analysis. Both are sailing in the same boat with lesser abilities.

You are very right. Our bowling department is appalling. The other day they showed on TV a bowling coach sitting next to Ravi Shastri.. Do not know what he is coaching to the bowlers. Our bowlers are not concentrating or focussed whatever it is. If they bowl to right hand batsman outside the off-stump, he takes a single and if there is a left hand batsman now, they bowl the same line next ball, resulting a wide ball and extra run.
When they are not even aware whether it is a left hand or right hand batsman whom they are bowling to, how are they going to take his wicket.
So much apathy and indifference when they harvest crores of rupees every month.

Looks to shaping into another nail biter match. Though India ended short by 25-30 runs after fall of kohli.. 300 is still a good score to defend. Won't be easy for PAK to chase unless the bowler perform harakiri...
On the flip side will have to stay awake all night..

CONGRATULATIONS. Finally I saw them win. There was one more guy, yes in the mirror, when I stood up and cheered. The very next minute, I hit the sack, just like the Hungarian PEE WEE ( Imaginary Character) off into the La la land. Goombah!
