Cricket is very entertaining .. provided
- You watch only the last hour of the 8 hour game
- During the last hour both teams are fairly close (run rate/wicket)
- You love watching the same advertisements again and again every few minutes
- And you are reading a book/watching netflix/surfing on the side.

I know Cineplex and Albion Cinemas are showing all Semi Final and Final of World cup cricket 2015 and ticket is $9.95.
However, is there any pub or bar showing semi and final in Mississauga/Brampton?
It is better with beer if you watch match.

Any bar showing cricket semi and final

Thanks

You can easily sneak in a cold one (a can but NOT a bottle ) ..into a theatre.

Just tape up the can , so when you are drinking inside, people won't notice it & think you are drinking a pop.

The games are at an odd hours, I don't think most bars are open after maybe 2.00 am at night in Canada. They probably need some special permit to sell alcohol in the morning say 6.00 am.

The match will probably be from around 11.00 pm to 7.00 am.

The last call in most ON bars for drinks is 2.00 am , even earlier for some bars. Unless they take a special permit or waiver from the Gov. But that costs lot of money so its NOT worth it for small events like this.

Thats one way of thinking. Seems like you think test cricket is not entertaining.
In one day, Apart from counting run required per ball, I also get kick by seeing a bowler in rhythm or an opening spell (first hour of innings), building of a partnership by batsmen when chips are down and seeing how and when batting power play is used.

None of the quarter finals had entertaining last hour, the matches was decided by that time, still these matches were worth sleep deprivation. :-)

How many one can sneak in ? one can of beer will leave you no so high but very dry and craving for more... Then there is always a risk of being thrown out or charged, motive is to see match after all.
Theater is still a good plan for singles. For not so lucky ones , family get together is way to go.

Sharma was in a very crouched position when he hit the ball & from both angles in the replay you can see him hitting it well below the waist. Aleem Dar messed up big time.

Just because both decisions favour India, doesn't mean they were right.

What the bowler bowled to Rohit Sharma was a rank full toss. A yorker that had gone wrong.

It must have travelled half way when the umpire called no ball. May be it would have dipped a few inches more than waist height on reaching the batsman

As soon as Rohit heard the call he went for a heave based on the sound of umpire's call and his signal. It would have been very unfair to give the batsman out after a no ball is given and the batsman swings his bat thinking that he would not be given out for a no ball.

The smaller nations around India are much more under developed but think that beating India in a cricket match is all that is required for their people.

Before the India/B'desh there were posters in face book by B'desh fanatics, of India losing the match and dogs s***ing on Indian flag.

S.Swamy is very right in asking India to take over one third of their territory, just like Israel, in proportion to their illegal immigrants swarming our country.

Hope Rohit again takes his ten-matches-off, not starting from this semi-final or possibly finals.

Again, how can we call review of Raina LBW decision 'plumb'. Half the seam of the ball was outside the line of leg stump even when seen on TV replays. How can we fault the umpire?

With advent of technology aren't there run out decisions or their not outs by fraction of a second/inch?

If a ball is pitched outside the leg stump, LBW is not out even if it goes on to hit the stumps.

Our 'friendly' neighbour PM herself has stated that their nation lost the match because of umpires. These friends in reality would back stab us any moment. God protect Modi and India.
