Only 10-20 bucks , depending where you go. But I think its per paper/document .
But you have to type everything, they won't don anything, if they have to draft the letter & type & advice etc..its more.
All they will do for 10-20 bucks is look at the letter & your photo ID ( one id should be enough like DL )..but carry 2 ID's if you can like DL , Passport etc ...and stamp the letter with a seal/stamp & the lawyers signature .
Is it necessary to notarize invitation letter for visitor visa? Does it help to ensure visa is granted ? I just sent the invitation letter ( not notarized) to my people 3 weeks back and they got the visit visa.

No need to notorize an invitation letter. It does look official but then not needed.
Better one is to get a letter from your MP. That adds more weight to it.
But anyways it is the OP's choice. All power to him/her.
