I saw one man dream movie whreby a man with his dream of a mouse mde such a big place possible to enjoy with ur family but these people hv mde it so commercialisted that family enjoyment charm is lost seeing usd 106 for full day pass and $3 for 500 ml water bottle. To top,
these tourist spoil ur fun by mkng u run frm 6 am to 11 pm. It's ok for adults but children suffer a lot due to heat and long hours. U won't believe I felt like tour guide aur mere husband ko kapda dhote hai waise pair pakadkar kisi pathar par dhona chahiye. With 102 temp ,thy wanted my children to enjoy animal kingdom and epcot coz we paid $600 each for all these places. Nightmare.

But we enjoyed 3rd and 4 th coz we point blank refused to rush and I fired tourist guide left and right and promised to sue if something happens to my children. I told my husband to go ahead and enjoy alone if he is so worried about spending money. He went ahead. We were the only indian family, other than that one more Sri Lankan family. Rest everybody were chinese youngsters, couples.

SeaWorld was best to see coz there were huge stadium so no queue, second being water everywhere, it is cooler place to enjoy and third most wonderful thing is $35 (adults ) and $20 ( children) for unlimited food and drinks throughout the day at any food stalls and restaurants. OH boy! it was like heaven after 3 days of $3 for small water bottles $ 5-6 for ice candy and $15-25 lunch and dinner.

And the loonie has gone down so add 35 % extra to all the above. So $ 3 bottle becomes $ 4 CAD.

A friend of mine recently did the Disney trip but they did it as a part of a cruise package. ... Bahamas or something ...

We can't blame the tour operators , they still pack as much punch as possible with in the given days and time..... of course meant for those who are on a time and budget.

This I guess is the biggest plus . You do not need to plan an itinerary and find out what to do , when and how .

A friend recently did a Vancouver trip and she used the local tour to see the place quickly... When we went to NYC , the hop on hop off bus was quote convenient and time saving..

Basically the choice is time ...if you have it , you should do it at leisure , if you don't .... well tours are a good option.

frankly, when I calculate, I don't think, these Chinese tours are cheap in any way. yeh tho thopi pahana raha hai logon ko.

They charged us $1200+ tax for quad....

Hotel/motel $80-100 for 4-5 star so.... 100 X 7 = 700
free breakfast 5x8x4 = 160
bus/gas/driver 200

Disneyland and other attractions charges USD 600

Tour guide USD 10 PER PERSON per day so, we don't have to calculate his salary here.

Now, yesterday, I saw deals in Disneyland, florida $59 motels/hotels offering discounted ticket $236 and $280 for Disneyland and other attractions.

The best is to drive or take a bus to Buffalo.

Then take a Buffalo to Orlando flight, so just 2-3 hr flight, instead of some 2 days in bus just getting to Orlando from Toronto ! Stay in a decent hotel or motel, just on the outskirts of Disneyland, since it will be much cheaper ! Like between 60 to 100 bucks a day. The closer you get to the resort the more expensive it gets. Just half hour away could be half price !

This flight will be Much cheaper than Toronto - Orlando flight, usually its half price or less !

There are daily shuttle buses usually FREE or a nominal charge from these outskirts hotels/motels to Disney Land. Even public transport is available to get to and fro to Disneyland.

Usually they will have FREE breakfast included. Just visit nearby grocery stores for cheap & healthy
( or non ) food like fruits, sandwiches , bottled water, chips, pop etc, which you can have for Lunch & Dinner and you can pack it and take it with you..in back packs etc.

No overpriced restaurants and $ 3 bottled water or food at Disneyland . No stupid tips to the Chinese people ! Your trip will be more relaxed, at leisure, less hectic and less expensive than these Chinese.

You can book the flight online, you can book the hotel/motel online, you can even get the Disney theme park tickets ordered online to your home in Toronto, Some GTA outlets even sell them over here, book a car rental online if you are planning to drive in Orlando ( otherwise plenty of shuttle buses and public transport option available )

The chinese are NOT as cheap as they are made out to be, its pretty much the same or more expensive if you add up everything like taxes, tips, their stupid meal plans etc.

The Admin and the Owner of CD should contact them by email, and ask them to occasionally post over here. Some have their email in their profile. Just a reminder that's all, ofcourse NO one can force anyone, if they don't want to visit CD..ha ha

Maybe they do want to post here once in a while & might have just forgotten about CD in the last 5-10 yrs.

You know there are more entertaining sites around, right? Also, those sites don't mind few 'dirty' jokes flying around here and there. So, posters come here for one reason that this site advertise for - help with immigration questions. Once they realize their question is answered, they leave and have fun at another 'no-holds-barred' site, i.e. Reddit, Quora, etc.

Tell me why should the mighty 'Vagg' dare to post his 'un-family' jokes here, when he could get hundreds of hits at another popular site? Heck! He could even get banned here as well - oh! He actually did.

We, the few are the left over here just for the cravings and addiction to this site only. I am, to practice my writing skills and vocabulary, whatever I am good at with; and in order to eventually and hopefully write my first book.
