I would suggest that we do not digress into a discussion of religion and express views only about God. I have no right to comment on religion and religious beliefs of my friends.

Perhaps I should've stated straight that there would be very little subscription to any if doesn't guarantee a rebirth or afterlife hence the God.
As I grow old beyond 60, I would be very likely to adhere to religious beliefs for nothing but my own very selfish reason of a life again.... The same principle should apply to quite many people.

Perhaps you can clarify my misunderstanding or misquoting and hence correct the knowledge ...
The fanaticism and killings committed by Islamists the world over and in all times is well known the world over ....
The concept of martyrs getting 72 virgins and after life pleasures has also been known as a widely brain washing technique for Islamists to commit suicide killing countless of others in well known terror attacks across the world today ? Can you enlighten us to the reasons which justify Islamists blowing themselves up and taking innocent lives as well please ?
ISIS has been known to kill countless people asking them to convert to Islam first or be killed ... refer to Yazidis ........... and this has happened in many parts of the world at different times including India and desecration of temples simply because some one somewhere decided that those who do not believe in their God were infidels ....
Boko Haram and other groups have been known to kill countless non Muslims and their leaders claim that they are carrying out the will of their God , Allah .....Whose God is it anyways if God is one and same ???
Do you deny that too .... if yes please enlighten us with the understanding of 'kafir' and why idol worship is denounced with in Islam .... it is somebody else's faith ...isn't it ? ... So someone else's God and faith is wrong or lesser in comparison to your own ?
Similarly there was a news , about a man being killed by a mob alleging he ate beef ....
..... Why kill some one else because he does not share your religious belief ?And that brings me to the second more dreaded .part of my belief ............ Some man created the concept of God and Religion ......... and now generations later , men are killing other men for that religion and God that perhaps never existed and was only man made ..... in my opinion ...

Really cannot understand how all the above are connected to the subject question.
The super powers have built their nuclear arsenals to destroy the planet many times over even as they do not profess faith in any God. Is it that we can do all the Boko Haram atrocities, when we have no faith in God?
All the hating and killing is done by man. It is OK to believe in God and OK not to believe in God, as long as we refrain from such acts.
