Even if there was/is God, I highly doubt and bet on anything there never existed any sort of miracles that we associated him/her with.
Raavan never had 10 heads and Jesus was never re-born. Just man made myths. No one ever healed anyone with just a touch of a hand. If God was ever here, I am sure he/she is faceless with no physical structure; and being a supreme being that created everything must be living on a far far planet busy with his own set of delusions what he is being perceived as. Also, must be laughing and wondering at the very people that falsely profess, kill or torture (physical/mental) in his name.
God must be having a field day looking down at the earth.

Which brings us to the next biggest Q about God's existence .... All religion have one thing in common as per belief in God ~ He is a supreme being who controls the world ... no one has seen Him ..... But what is different between different religions is their depictions and differences in the God they have and the God/s others have ...
Islam believes in Allah and Hindus believe in Rama and neither would acknowledge the others' God presence further strengthening the line of thought that their Gods are different & how humans might have created God .
Different people in different parts of the world at stone age or after must have created the phenomenon of God for un seen , unexplained natural things and attributed them to someone who has greater control.... This phenomenon is common among humans but interpretations different --- similar to how earthquake must have been understood by different words & meanings in different parts of the world at one time.
Such is the charisma of the non existent or what lies beyond with humans that even today if some one slightly more intelligent than others goes into a cave and comes out stating that he had revelation from God , people would believe him ..... and when the number of such people increases , it lays the pavement for a new faith to be created ... and perhaps a new God ...
In Hinduism, action itself is depicted as God Vinayaka. Therefore, attempting to run a mile under 4 minutes is no different from worshiping Him.
Hinduism would accept Allah as God for people belonging to another community wishing to reach Him, though the same magnanimity cannot be expected from the other community. Rama is incarnation of God and it would be foolish to think that God would reside only inside Rama and not outside. God resides in all matter, space, living and non living things. Even time is worshiped as Khalbhairav, a form of Lord Shiva.
From what I heard, God does not control, but remains Supreme Witness or Sakshathkaara.
If anyone wishes to go inside a cave and stay there in solitude he too would experience para normal activity, like in the neutrino project. Many people do experience this once in a while, in their day to day lives, but are afraid to share the same, lest they be called lunatics. However, people calling themselves God because of this experience and others believing is another issue.
Man did not create, but only realized God. This is the reason for his superiority to other living things. However man himself contests this opinion and makes a mockery of the same.

Agree. Most devotees are unable to distinguish the symbolic writings in scriptures such as Puranas and Bibles and instead believe it literally.
Valmiki Ramayan never had any mention of Ravan's 10 heads. It is symbolic to the ego of Ravan that was 10 fold. He was having 10+ different thoughts at a same time. He was Shiv Bhakta on one hand and he did the worst on another hand.
Even today those who does double-talk are considered do-munh wale. That doesn't mean literally they have double mouth.

GG where did you picked that Ravan was egoistic ? 10 heads signifies his brain was equivalent to 10 folds . He has been known one of the most intelligent person on earth .

Did man actually realize God or claims and feels he has realized God - is the question ... Is there a God firstly is the q.
Realization of God or not - humans are superior to other animals and that has got nothing to do with their faith in God.
Lastly it is hard to make out who makes a bigger mockery out of themselves - those who believe in Him blindly or those who do not
