What is freedom of speech? Is it a licence to speak whatever you want to speak as long as it is overtly or covertly against the BJP or its allies? The film Udta Punjab is based on half truth. It simply gives the impression that the problem of drug is confined to Punjab and is due to the failure of the Punjab Government. Half truth is more dangerous than lies. It is definitely going to harm the ruling party in Punjab. Anurag should have focused on other places too such as Delhi.

Awesome! Exactly the moment I was waiting for. Looks like they released the movie to you. Please send me the copy as well. I would like to form the opinion right after watching it.

Fido.
I think we all should thank Nihalani for the furor that the Punjab's drug problem has come to the forefront, and in a big way. Whether or not the movie highlights the one.
Having my relatives and roots in Punjab (and of-course Delhi), it feels a great pain to see the youths that are reeling under the menace, while the Govt has been mostly sitting on their arses.
Nihalani and the BJP/Akali Govts hit a self-goal with this fiasco.

lets vote together to appoint AK as a new role for Film Critics and Reviewers or appoint him as a head of the Central Board of Film Certification of India so at least he can become busy to do the job instead of criticise each and every step by BJP or NaMo...
