Good news for struggling Desi parents who have children.
From July 2016, your CCTB is going to be increased to $ 450 per child who is above 6 years. For children less than 6 years, it will be more. Also upto $ 30,000 annal income, you will not have any clawbacks.
Before it was around $ 225 per child per months.
So for a family who has 3 children less than 17 years of age, they will get $ 1350 straight into their bank account. This can pay for the rent of $ 1000 a month and you will get $ 350 for food and other activities.
For sure this will stoke inflation and house prices are even going to shoot up further. But it does make it better for people who have low salary or no salary.
It does make it a very good point for immigration to Canada.
I heard that this was specifically done for the kids of a particular communities where the parents donot work at all. The kids were in poverty and going to gun crimes and drugs and this is expected to lift a lot of kids from poverty.
Great times ahead for the low salary earners and free ballers.

If you look at it objectively - perhaps Yes.
Heard on the news yesterday that the Govt is budgeting setting up jobs in some 'famous' areas of Jane Finch , Lawrence Heights , Rexdale etc.
The idea being that if there are jobs and better education there would be lesser time for gang & drug activities and may save some from falling in that trap.
Nothing is a 100% cure but even if that saves a good lot , it may be useful.
Though it is true that this will benefit Muslims and esp Somali Muslims more as they have a propensity to reproduce a large number of kids .. ( which owes a bit to their religion also) ... But hopefully if those kids can grow up being more educated , they can contribute back to the society.

Man, you have a real problem. You are breeding 'hate' against one particular community. I have the record of all your posts...Never you spoke against Brahmins...or hindus...who worship everything including male and female reproductive organs....
