Hi,

Any latest popular websites for IT jobs ?
I'm checking the usual workopolis and monster.ca as in the past but wondering if any other job sites has become popular off late.
I'm a senior oracle DBA coming back to Market end of this month, if you guys come across any matching requirements, please forward me.

Besides the ones mentioned , try indeed.ca .. its a kind of a job crawler which gets you all the jobs.

And perhaps Dice .. I thought it was meant for US opportunities till I was contacted by a local recruiter through Dice.

Get the dice rolling anyways

About Dubai, I would never go back and work in IT but in business development (there are lot of challenges there but pretty live).

I will be joining the bandwagon too next month end :-)

I feel Linkdin is pretty effective these days. I get many calls/msges based on the clientele and skillset you worked.

My best bet will be to keep in touch with top 5 agencies account managers whom you already worked with or know them personally.

Despite all the above tips, still you might get a gap in between the contracts..it all depends on Market, timing IMHO.

PS: heard, cisco laying out 14,000 jobs in coming weeks...not sure how much impact in GTA market..
