Woman demands to see ‘white doctor’ at Mississauga clinic...

Peel Regional Police were called to a Mississauga clinic for a “disturbance” after a woman was confronted when she made repeated demands to see a “white doctor” who “speaks English" and can treat her son.

The woman asks to see a “white doctor” to treat her son. When clinic staff tell her that isn’t possible, she becomes irate.

"I would like to see a white doctor. You're telling me in this whole entire building there isn't one white doctor?” the woman says. “Can I see a doctor please that is white (and) that doesn’t have brown teeth.”

The woman presses staff further and then says “What type of horrible country do I live in? There’s no (doctor) that’s Canadian? No one that was born here?”

after watching this video....I feel, really are we living in Canada???

I don't blame her.

She must be so used to seeing non-white immigrant doctor's driving cabs, doing pizza delivery, working in McDonalds in Canada, that she was surprised to see a non-white doctor in Canada. So she thought a cab driver is going to treat her son.

I would do the same to protect my son, if I thought a burger flipper is going to treat my son.

I am less surprised at her behaviour and more surprised a non-white immigrant managed to work and was allowed to work as a doctor in racist Canada.

White people have brown teeth as they smoke a lot, but that's OK, because they are white.

Nothing wrong with what she is saying.

I see Pakistani Muslim women who say that they only want to be seen by Muslim female doctors.
Somali women are the same.

I see Punjabi Sikh guys from Brampton, only wanting Punjabi doctors or atleast brown desi doctors.

Chinese people in China town ( Spadina & Dundas ) and Markham only want to go to Chinese doctors.

So Why can't a White woman want a White doctor ? Canada gives her the right to do that.

I think you are away from the reality. There are considerable non-white doctors working in GTA area. Here is a list of Doctors attached to William Osler Hospitals.
