Schooling is also important for many people - I am not sure about education in Brampton/Mississauga - can any share experiences of schooling?

Hi Guys & gals,

Please give me an idea of rent for 2 bedroom apartment in the good localities of Toronto. I've come to know thru Garvo Gujarti that local schools are not good everywhere so please advise me the rent for those localities in which good schools exist. How much will be the travelling time for the workplace (say to downtown)?I have heard the size of the houses is too small,Is it true? What is the meaning of basement apartment? Can we purchase a house after getting a permanent job only?
when we buy a house do we construct or these are available readymade. Please tell me the current price of a house for a family of 4 in aforesaid locality

In response to Anjana's question, 2 bedroom apartment in Toronto and near by suburb can cost anything from $ 800 to $ 1500 per month. For more detail visit my web site and click HomesFor Rent . http://realestate-ontario.com/search.htm

Anjana is also perfectly right in assuming that schools vary in terms of quality of grades etc. For more detail on quality of education please visit school boards. http://www.tdsb.on.ca/ and http://www.peel.edu.on.ca/

Time to Commute to downtown depends upon the place you live . If you live in Mississauga and Brampton it can take from 45 min to 1 hr depending upon your mode of transport. Try getting the job in Mississauga or Brampton.

Mississauga is Canada's 3rd largest FIRE (Finance, Insurance, Real Estate) cluster and includes 4800 businesses, employing over 23,500 people. The Greater Toronto's FIRE sector including Mississauga is 3rd largest in North America and amongst largest in the world. Mississauga is also the safest city and house of 50 of Canada's Fortune 500 offices providing residents with an opprtunity to work close to home. Visit http://www.mississauga.ca

Basement apartments are a separate living space (basement ofcourse) that people normally rent out. Municipal Zoning by laws requires these unit should pass the necessary FIRE standards.

Sure anyone can purchase a house after securing a permanent job. As a new immigrant you may be asked to give 35% down payment (No question asked) and you buy the home. Once you have a good credit history and more than 6-8 months permanent job you can buy home with as low as 5% downplayment. Check below site for more details:
http://www.cmhc-schl.gc.ca/en/bureho/index.cfm

For more details on current prices of homes visit http://www.mls.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK or you can also visit my site and learn more on Buying http://www.realestate-ontario.com/buyers.htm

Once you are here do contact myself for a home buyer interview. As a buyer, in most cases one does not pay commission to agents for buying a Home/ Condo unless one chooses otherwise.

Good Luck,
