Currently Philippines is processing applications for spouse and child categories within the Family Class within 12 months of the date of the submission of sponsorship. The posted processing time is as under, as applicable to family class applications in Philippines.
Stage of Processing Average Processing Times over the past twelve months
Family Class Application [spouse/common law partner, child (as defined in section 1(3) of the Immigration & Refugee Protection Regulations]
First review 6 months
Interview (if required) 9 months
Average total processing time (if no interview is required) 12 months
Family Class application [All other relatives, including parents & grandparents]
First review 12 months
Interview (if required) 27 months
Average total processing time (if no interview is required) 30 months

The waiting is over, my spouse got a letter from the visa office in the Philippines yesterday and asking for my spouse's passport for visa stamping. Wow, i didn't know that it can be that soon..Well, thanks for those members who provided some info..
