Those who would like to attend a flag hoisting event, this is the place and time.

Sunday 15th August, 2004 - 8.45 A.M.
Address: 267, Princess Avenue, Willowdale, North York M2N 3S3

Another location and great news!

This year, for the first time, the City of Markham has declared 15th August as " India Day " and there is to be a flag hoisting there at 11:30 A.M. at the City Hall. To attend it, please be there at 11:15 A.M.

There has to be a change in the venue of the flag hoisting due to the weather forecast for Toronto for Sunday 15th August, 2004.

The flag hoisting will now be at the Consulate-General of India, 1835 Yonge Street, ( Fourth Floor ), Toronto M4S 1X8. It is opposite the Davisville subway station. The flag hoisting is at 9:00 AM, so if you want ot attend, please be there at 8:45 AM.

Thanks GG for the info. And it is good to know the recognition. I had been to Masal Mehandi Masti as well. Infact I also met Chandresh there. I though you would come there, as on Sun, it was an event of Ras Garba by YGNet.
