The event is only about 2 weeks away, what are they waiting for ? If they had wanted they would have given them by now. Its on a weekday, a working day ,are they going to give tkts on the last day ?
People need to take a day off etc , if they want to attend & also make other plans for baby sitting etc..not going to happen if they are uncertain about getting the tkts or not..& have to wait till the last second.
This is NOT India , this is Canada..time is valued here..the organizers need to know that .

People will blame people if the tickets were free or if the tickets are sold. That is the nature of Desi's.
Be happy that it is free (and you have to pay for parking, unless you prefer to take the TTC).
There will be sovenirs, food items, water all sold there for a premium price.
The organizers have to pay for Ricoh centre, for hydro ,for the audio video system and as well as for the general security of the people.
Those who want to see Modi, please go through these conditions and see him. Otherwise be like a Adnani or a ambani and see him at your whim and fancy.

TK i like it you are spot on .. Modi organizer do not need money from poeple.... Those has been already funded by donors
its just sometime Free make people lazy and u might get rough crowd... i don't prefer free entry for any type of shows or events - there should be always reasonable amount so only serious and quality people will gather .

I had applied for 5 tickets with same e mail ID, got back refusal email for first one applied and no reply for the rest.
