Aashu,
Why donot you use Street car or bus?
That will be the best option. Park at some place where parking is allowed and take the street car.

Lot of Indian's will be there. It will go like a breeze.

How did you get an Organization code ?

1.Parking won't be a problem you just park at any Exhibition parking lot. 6000 + spots

http://www.explace.on.ca/visiting/directions__parking/parking.php

There are also lot of other Green P ( Public City Parking ) lots.

It will cost you about $ 14 to park for the whole day maximum .

2. Traffic - Its at 12.00 pm so you will beat the rush hour , so getting into downtown won't be an issue.

But once you are there in downtown you will have the regular downtown Toronto traffic , plus lot of One way streets , No entries, No left turns etc.

Getting back you will encounter the regular evening rush hour traffic on Gardiner & also Highway, Streets going North to Vaughan.

3. The event is well organised by the organisers. But its some of the people & public who have NO manners & try their typical DESI attitude sometimes spoil it. They will try to cut the line, or try to pretend that they know someone & should get special treatment.

Typical ass licking & ass kissing will be observed, where they will be bending over to youch his feet & those of the other VVIP's with him . Modi won't act smart , but his entire entourage & security will.

The website has list of 331 partners for the event. Hopefully you are either member of any one of them or you can still contact a few of them and check if you can register through them for the event.

The arrangements are very opaque so we don't know which partner will be allotted how many tickets, i guess it depends upon the number of requests from each partner.

Parking is not an issue at Ricoh Coliseum since it is situated inside the exhibition place that has ample parking spots available as well as underground parking in the Direct Energy center if the demand is there.

Thanks for all your replies.

So not everyone who requests tickets gets it, we would know in few days if we did get it.

I am working that day but considering going ...not sure. Seems like too much hassle. Hassle VS return...have to weigh...may be just watch on TV or net. ...better and more comfortable...security checking and all that hassle...

Anyway, if you are a member of any of the organisations listed, they can give you code. As it also asks for reference, name of person of that org, who may validate if you really belong to that organisation.

Or just drive to Finch Station or Downsview TTC station , park your car there & take the subway to Union Station , & take street car from there to Exhibition place , you can even walk down if you want to Exhibition place from Union Station.

Take a Trasfer at Finch or Downsview station , so when you get down at Union , you don't have to pay another fare for the Street Car.

Cash fare - $ 3.00 , so going & coming will be only $ 6.00 .

It will take you 45 mins - 1 hr , depending on connections , trains etc to reach from Downsview or Finch , all the way upto Exhibition place.

Yup ..tkts must have already been handed out for to their friends & buddies & family members..by these organizations. They will even sell FREE tkts to you , if they can.

Nepotism & favouritism & partiality is a typical DESI mentality. Public BHAAD Mein GAYEE !..typical desi mentality.

Tickets have not been handed out as yet. The application will go through a multi-step process before they assign the tickets.
