Our PP's r undr PR Visa stampn in UK, exptd 2 return by mid Nov'08.
V r plng to entr Canada (Edmonton / Calgary / Toronto) not decided yet on the port of entry, wud prefer Edm. though ... juz strtd collectng info & getn ready

I wud appreciate recvn sum valuable advice / info w.r.t da below:
1. Which is da best time 2 entr Canada within Jan to July'09 (Our medicals done in Aug'08)
2. Anyone 4m AB or ON who can guide regrdn acco - place & rentals etc.
3. Time req'd to complete the post landing formallities like SIN / HC / DL etc.
4. Ed. Qual. assesment agencies in AB / ON (I've heard @ WES)
5. Anyone plng 2 entr & exit upon compltn of PRC / SIN / HC & bck 2 Dxb 4 da nxt 2 yrs. & move l8r 2 Can.?
6. I've a hardcore Engg. edn. bck grnd with 5 yrs. exp. in Construction / Manufacturing (Heavy Fabrication) & recent 6+ yrs. in Technical Sales...what is da avg. monthly salary / hourly rate for ppl in technical sales / project mgmt / mech. construction etc. I believe AB is da rite place @ da moment.
7. My wife is M.Com & currently wrkng in an MNC in DXB as sales coordinator... is it easier to land a job for spouses?

Lastly, I m 4m Goa with roots in Mumbai & my OH is 4m CH... any Goans out thr ?

V r open 2 strt netwrkn wid ppl out here in Dxb & out thr in Can ... evn b4 reaching our dream destination... decent like minded ppl r welcome 2 cntct us 2 share info & plan ahead.

Hello I came dubai 1996 joining Contracting Co. Dubai Deira near Clock tower worked till 1999.Then 2006-2009 for Bu HAleeba Contracting .Present i work for Granite Construction Co Abudhabi As Secretary.
I wish for good Career job so that I can Accompany wife & kids aged 11 & 4.

v have sent pp for visa stamping and now abt 3 weeks no news / ack.
can anyone tell us how long it takes normally
landing immigrant any tips on cheap but decent stay for 3 weeks in toronto with sight seeing tours contact also pls. v want to have a short & sweet trip
