Dear Mr. Massood

My friend of Indian origin got married in Africa, worked in USA and bothhis wife and him came to Canada as PR last year. Now they have agreed to seperate and want to have the Divorce done legally in papers. On the same time he doest want her to lose her PR as she came as his Dependant spouse. Will filing for divorce on mutual consent affect her immigration status??? She is working and independant. Looking forward to hearing form you.

NO, it will not effect her Immigration status even though she was dependent.
