I think moving to Alberta or Ontario would also depend on one's skill sets. If one's occupation is closely related to say petroleum industry, they should better move to Alberta. There cannot be generalization that one is better over another.

Doing labour jobs through agencies in GTA is worst. You can never predict how many days a month you will working! Even for jobs that pay $7.50/hour, the queue is so long.

Scorpion and now that someone has answered here are my views :-

Firstly your post contains a limited set of queries. What do u mean by "limited jobs" in TO vs Calgary ? YOu have not specified what kind of jobs you are looking for. Calgary is well known for its Petroleum/Petro-chemical jobs. No such thing in TO. So unless you state your problem more clearly, it becomes difficult for others to respond.

If on the other hand you have an idea about your job, but do not feel like discussing it with us then its your prerogative. Then, you can easily use the "Search" option of "Charcha" that can lead you to relevant posts highlighting various aspects of your Jobs/ living costs in Calgary vs Toronto etc.

i would defenitly say Toronto because it has a lot more job opportunity then Alberta mainly because its not one big farm.. further more for immigrants Toronto is the best place to start off with.
