People say there are a lot of jobs in Alberta bcoz of he oil boom. Its not that i am unhappy in mississauga but i can tell 1 thing that there is a lot of money where there is oil.
How about the IT sector in alberta, is it good for system administrator te of roles?
apart frmo monster, and workopolis does anyone know of any job sites for Alberta region

It does not necessarily mean that you can get jobs in IT in Alberta easily & with better pay.

Try the websites of companies like Jacobs, Shell, Syncrude, SNC, Suncor, Encana, Flour, Bentral, Telus, Shaw, Bell, Rogers, Accenture, Enmax, etc. Places like Fort McMurray might give you better pay in Alberta. Also try agencies like Kelly Services, Manpower, Friday Personnel, etc.

Moreover, more jobs in Alberta does not necessarily mean more pay. It is just an market rate pay as in Ontario but chances are higher to change jobs frequently. Also, i personally feel that one should be present in the city of advertised job so he can be called for an interview.
