I have applied for my PR, got my AOR, my few concerns are -

- Can i leave Canada and go to India for 3 weeks?
- If i marry during the process, is there a advantage? when can i get my wife here?

- ONLY ADVANTAGE IS YOU MAY GET EXTRA POINTS FOR YOUR WIFE'S EDUCATION. YOU MAY NOT NEED IT. I'M ASSUMING YOU APPLIED AS A SKILLED WORKER.

- when can i get my wife here?
- I DON'T KNOW YOUR STATUS IN CANADA. IF YOU ARE STUDYING, SHE CAN APPLY FOR VISA TO ACCOMPANY YOU.

I am on a student visa, but currently on a Graduate work permit.
Already applied for my PR as a skilled worker and recieved my AOR.

I am going to marry in dec 2004.
So it will help me increase in my points.

So when can she apply for PR? or she can come here as my dependant?

Also
I recieved my AOR in sept 2004, wht is the waiting time for buffalo center? when do you think i should get a interview or medical call?

She need not apply for PR on her own. You will simply add her to your ongoing application.

Buffalo is taking approximately 20 months these days.

"She would be eligible for open work permit ( you have to apply in canada for that and is valid till your work permit ), provided she is able to get visitor visa."

- Can she work on this open work permit?
- what documents do u need from myside or my company, i m currently working in on grad work permit?
- where do i need to apply?and what is the waiting period?
