Paying Canadian Credit Card bills from the USA

For all folks in this situation, your input and experiences will be helpful

I have a Canadian Credit card with MBNA Canada... Now I can use the card anywhere in the world and my biils will be going to my canadian address. However, I am not staying in Canada anymore.
MBNA is afterall an American company. Now, I have the following questions for folks who have been in a similar situation :-

1.) What is the process of obtaining a credit card from the same company in the USA ?

2.) Suppose if you have a balance in your Canadian CC and you want to pay your bill. How do you go about doing that ? That is you have a checking account in an American Bank. !

3.) Will they transfer your balance from your Canadian acct to the American acct (assuming you have a sufficient credit line)

Any help / information will be greatly appreciated

I faced the same issue when I moved from USA to Canada
Transit number range in US and Canada bank is different and that's why you can not pay your Canadian CC balance online or over phone from your US checking account
With my BankOne US credit card they even returned check from my Canadian Bank US doller account.
Finally I did wire transfer from my Canadian Bank to USA bank account and from there I payed up my US CC balance
I do Know RBC has a better plan for Canadians who are staying in USA
