How about these topic:

In how much time did u buy your own house in canada?
or
What is the type of your house like condo /semi detached/row house etc.
or
In how much time u started feeling comfortable in canada.
or
In how much time did u buy your first car in canada
or
In your family are husband & wife both working.

These r my suggestions. Others members may be having better idea.

Continue keeping desis in canada networked.
