Hi,
we recently landed in Windsor, Ontario. Our twin babies were born in USA, when we landed they were issued immigration visa valid for one year. Now we have to file their immigration in Canada.
Please guide me how can I file the immigration of my babies (18 months old) who are living with us in Canada.
Thanks,
Anurag
Hi ,
I do not know answer to your question but i have another question for you. You were in USA at the time of delivery. What was your status (visa status) that time ? Did you go from India or canada ? If a Pregnant lady wants to go frm canada to US, do they create problems (with the intention of delivering baby there) ? And does the new born gets USA immigration for life ?
Thanks
Hi Aashu,
I was working in USA on H1B1 visa during the delivery of my babies and babies were born in USA; so babies are US Citizen. Later on we moved to Canada and babies got the One year Canadian Immigration Visa and now we have to sponsor them for their Permanent Residence in Canada. But they can go to USA anytime as they are US Citizen.
There is no problem if you want to deliver babies in USA, except you have to work out hospital and medical expense and of course valid immigration
or non-immigration status in USA
Hope this helps...
Anurag

You just need to apply for sponsorship immigration for your kids.
It usually takes about 2-4months. I had same situation ...applied in
Nov 2004 and got it approved in Feb 2005. My son was born in US. Now he is Canadian immigrant.
Note: You need to show them proof of funds and yearly expected income ( eg: pay stubs etc )
