Suggestion for short stay

Hi,

One of my friend is landing for stamping on 29th May 2005 along with his spouse.
He is looking for a short term accomodation till 4th June 2005.

I requests desis to suggest alternatives.
I also have couple of queries.

1. He was there in Canada sometime before and got SIN and a bank account. Is it enough to apply only PR card in his case? For his spouse he need to complete all formalities.
2. His SIN card is not with him presently. He is woking in UAE and his card is in India. Is he required to carry it and show them or its number and details are enough?
3. Also can you suggest a site or desi post expalining activities to carry out after landing.

How can he get his SIN if he is just landing for stamping. If he's re-entering, he needs to PR Card to re-enter

He worked for 'Infosys' for about 10 months in Canada before applying for Immigration and later moved to UAE.

He applied for SIN number since he was working there and opened a bank account as per rules ( I suppose).

Hi ,

1) Ur friend needs to apply for a new SIN for his PR,
the earlier SIN he has before is for work permit I think.
2) He can use his old bank a/c if it is still active .
3) He needs to give a local address for the PR card to be mailed at the
airport (any friends).
4) He has to apply for the SIN number at the nearest HRDC centre
(working number).

still looking accomodation for ur friend not got anything i have nice accommodation for short term.
