Hi,

I am from Hyderabad currently in Saudi Arabia. I left Hyd. 15 years back but have visited often. I took my canada PR in July 2005 and now back in Saudi to complete my 2 more years. By August 2007 I will be moving back to Canada to Mississauga area, where we stayed previously.

Liked the place and visited CN tower, Zoo, Niagara falls, Science Museum, malls etc. and children really enjoyed being there. Coming from saudi it was an exhillarating experience.

I look forward to make new freinds.

Dear Hyderabadis
Have been going through all the posts, most of them are good and informative well done for the good job, but few of them are very negative.
To summ up the long story why did these people leave their country of origin \"to try their luck\" its all destiny and hard work.

I left my lovely hyderabad in 1992, studied in All Saints High School, Abids later on in LFJC Uppal, did my Bachelors in BNSC, Narayanguda and landed up in Saudi Arabia in IT Field in the line of technical support.

Will post the timeline of my immigration details in the near future.

Well all Hyderabadis lets do something fruitful, try to build up a network of hyderabadis - LETS DO IT.

Let us create a help network and try to help each other and pool resources to uplift the HYD.s in CAN

OK for the start all HYD.s which part of Toronto is better to settle down Job wise and expense wise.

I've done my B.Tech, MBA and moving soon to Toronto on work-permit. Am waiting for my medical results (already done with interview).

Currently, am at Dilsukhnagar. Anyfrom this area?

And I dont know where to find my accomodation once I reach Toronto. I may most probably reach there by the end of this month (provided I receive my visa in time)

Kindly suggest me how to find accomodation and also other do's and dont's

I cannot say i am a hyderabadi but my parents now live in hyderabad and so i can also be one among this group.I am native of vizag(lived their for 25 years) (the city of destiny)

But born in kkd and have a bit of typical east godavari accent enti andayyyyy

I have applied for PR for canada (2005) from germany and eagerly waiting to make canada as my new home.I currently live in Germany(believe me itz a wonderful country)

I was overwhelmed with happiness seeing this thread. Itz is such a nice feeling to talk in your mother tongue(you hardly get to see a desi soul here ).

I have done my masters in microbiology from GITAM COLLEGE,Vizag.
I would be so glad if some of you could suggest me what can i do before landing or what can be done after coming to canada regarding upgrading my skills.

I spent a couple of maiden months in Hyderabad last year in which I lived a lifetime - felt a deep sense of belonging to the place - people were very good , climatically also much better --- maybe if I am R2I this maybe my Indian destination for good.
