Same thing applies for movies like Deewar/Shakti.
Agree somewhat on this point. But I feel, without BigB these great movies may not have been such great movies (except Sholay), no matter how good the direction or story or picturisation was. Again it's just my view.

I still don't understand why that chimp was given "PADMASHRI" ....I was so upset...I think it was all politics...
SRK today is all because of Media... During Big B's time....there were not too much of media involvement ...neither many people had TV Sets...even then he was so popular among masses...
Even at 60 he can deliver hit's like BLACK, WAQT, SARKER....I will wait to see where SRK is when he is in his 60's...
SRK is arrogant...he even tried to bribe award juries to get best actor award...to which he apoligized later on...
There isn't anyone like Amithab Bachhan, comparing the two isn't really appropirate.
Among the scenes, Each time I see his movies, it is as if it's new, AB's voice used to go well with Kishore Kumar and that was a great combination.
Regarding the scenes, I love to see his dialoges, in Sholay where he seeks proposal for Dharmendar with Hemas mother, talking all -ve things of Dharm .

BigB is a star performer. His acting is par excellence no matter what the role.
Ask him to do comedy and he is the best. Till date the best of his comic performace was that episode in Satte pe Satta where he goes to discuss the alliance of his brother with Amjad Khan. Keeps drinking and kissing Amjad Khan on the cheek. That was hilarious. I can see that scene over and over and again and never stop laughing.
I can't remembr any movie of Sharukh where he has done real comedy that could have you rolling with laughter.
