Tomorrow morning is going to be important for froex trading since the Canadian and US trade figures will be announced at 8.30 am.
My advise for tomorrow - Buy Euro/USD and sell GBP/USD (or vice versa) and set a limit of about 40 points for each.
Alternatively, set a stop loss of 20 pips with a trailing stop loss of 10 points and if together with that a limit can be set too (iam not sure, set it for 50 pips)
However, do this around 8 am since after 8.10 or so you will not be able to do it. The market is expected to be volatile tomorrow morning.

I am a newly landed immigrant landed on 5 october 2005 and am looking for good job. I was a dentist in India and i discovered that getting into dentistry wud be too hard for me, it may take over 3 or 4 years or more. Meanwhile i need to survive. I was told that forex trding is a good field to be taken as a profession. Hence I have started doing it by registering with online brokers with trding platforms. I have gone thru the basics in those sites and started doing demo trading. But cud not get the ctch of it. I shall be grateful if you will let me know whther forex tradingis a lucrative profession. Is this a good one for a person like me who is totally new to forex. please guide me regarding this.

Dr Reddy,
For a person who is a new immigrant to this country........my sincere advise is - Don't even think of taking forex trading as your profession or money earning venture. YOU MIGHT LOSE THE SHIRT YOU ARE WEARING!
Having said that, I would also say that start this with some money that you can afford to lose 100% as a side hobby, meanshile concentrating on getting some survival jobs or better still, a change in career, if need be. You can keep forex trading as a career/profession at the back of your mind, and try to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible doing small trades and reading about the markets/strategies etc.
But remember, I always tell people - forex trading is not for the faint hearted, so if you are of the kind whose blood pressure can shoot up on a sudden change inthe market, then your heart is more important than money!
If you still want, I can call you later today - am at home most of the day!
