For all those who attended the two sessions - and have started with the demo account, DONT miss the action tomorrow morning at 8.30 when the non-farm payroll figures come out. There might not be much of a movement - but things seem to be uncertain due to Katrina and Rita, and figures might create chaotic swings.

As advised in the advance session, try to do this:

1. Buy Euro/USD and short STG/USD, or
2. Buy a pair in one account and sell the same in another account. Put stops or if you prefer, limits on both contracts. If placing stops try with 20 pips each, and if limits, try with 30-50 each.

You may also want to put both stops and limits on each trade. I will be doing may be stops at 20 and limits at 50 on each trade!

Just a suggestion - I do not know whether you will make or lose! but no harm trying on demo account to get the FEEL!

I am still juggling in Demo.
The bad point is that I am loosing the money,but the good point is that I know why i am loosing it.

I am making a move either in the evening or morning,but not getting the time to monitor it constantly. The biggest mistake is that I am leaving it for the next day without giving a check in between the hours.

The learning: try to make your move when you have the time in control.I mean ,play for only a hour or two with good move and strategy and monitor the move constantly for this hour or two.

How about others? How about you Anita?

My forex account seems to be jinxed. I trade only the live account. I start witha lot of enthusiasm on sunday(coz thats the first day of teh week) and by tuesday or wednesday I am able to have a 25-50% ROI(return on investment), but by the end of the week that is on Friday I end up losing all my profits so my account is back to the capital money i had invested. This has been repeatedly happening over the past 3 months.

I hope you have learned the basics of forex trading and are now clear that either it is not your cup of tea or, have seriously started practising it.

For me, I developed more discipline after telling you how to be disciplined and with that, I wish to share with you that I have made a net profit of USD 2400 since Oct 1. Not bad, especially when I had come down to my margin calls early October and had even got a draft made for Refco! I have used some of the stratagies that we discussed at the seminar - specially the buying and selling the same currency in two accounts.

Would like if some others can share their experience in last two months.
