Hello,
I am on HRDC approved work permit for last 3 years and have an engineering degree from Canadian university. I have just applied for PR from buffalo and I got the file number within 10 days. Should I send the finger print/police record from RCMP now before they send me the letter to do so ? Just to make it faster.
Thanks
Always a good idea. No harm in doing so.

I also have one more question. I am in Canada for last 6 years and on work permit for 3 years, I got married few months ago and came beck to Canada to join work. My wife tried to get visitor's visa twice but she got refused saying that she doesnt have ties in India. Second time, I hired a big lawyer and paid $2000 dollars but still lawyer said nothing can be done regarding visa officer's decision. I tried to take help of local MP but they are refusing to give me a letter as they feel that this is not an emergency case. I have a very good work profile in Canada and both side families are very well settled in India. My wife is also a doctor and working in hospital. I didnt apply for PR when she was trying to get the visitor's visa. SO just now I have applied for PR and it's in process from Buffalo. Will take atleast one and half year !!
I am going to India next month and want to apply at Delhi in person and will request for an interview. DO you think going to Delhi in person and requesting for an interview will help ? Do you have any suggestion ?
May be. Good luck.
