i posted the same for Massood's advice however i would like to hear some sensible advice here

I would appreciate your thoughts and guidance on the issue

i got my pr application approved and entered canada through road (from US border)
after applying for my SIN and pr i came back, later i received a letter from CIC - surrey office that due to some photograph issue i would need to appear for an interview and they sent across the date as 28th july, i received the letter on 30th thou
Now i need to reschedule the interview, when i called the office(took help of a friend) they said i need to give in writing the reason why i didnt attend the interview if the reason wont be valid i would need to re-apply for my PR card, seems pretty weird but i would need to follow the same

can you help me wording what kind of reasn should i state, would me stating that i was travelling to US be a good reason and it would be accepted?

Pls advice me and guide me the right way to take the approach

Called in on Tuesday I won't be able to come to work for the rest of the week. My shrink put me on a depressant pill yesterday and I was up all night wired. I'm in zombieland right now and I don't want to drive in fear of an accident, or run the machines in fear of getting hurt or dismembered. I need the rest of the week off cause my body needs to adjust to the medication. So I need the last three days as vacation days because I've missed too much time already and I can't afford to miss anymore .
